WaxFactory’s sci-fi QUARTET v4.0 stages East German playwright Heiner Müller’s controversial text in a sterile, post-apocalyptic world that serves as the arena for the vicious endgames of its protagonists. In WaxFactory’s production, the actors’ live performance is simultaneously broadcast with video images captured from multiple angles by surveillance cameras, which are edited, processed, and projected in real time.
