DESCRIPTION

   WaxFactory's 416 MINUTES features a collaboration with artists from Japan, Russia, Eastern Europe, and the United States. In the company's signature multidisciplinary style, this unsettling new work shadows an actress whose escape from a film studio sets her on a trail of chance encounters during the hours of the night when things take on a particularly eerie glow.

Following the completion of the phase one of the project development, which culminated in a work-in-progress screening at the Japan Society in 2011, WaxFactory is continuing to work on 416 MINUTES. The project is being simultaneously developed as a feature-length film and a multidisciplinary performance/installation.
